While I haven't followed him, I listened to a podcast episode with Dr Robert Putman. He spoke about the "boy problem" of the early 1900s which led to the creation of the Boy Scouts and Big Brother. Sounds like we need the modern day equivalent. The link to the podcast is included in a piece that I wrote about young men. Love for you to read it. https://harmoniousbalance.substack.com/p/young-men-in-america-feel-unseen
I have not, though I have heard of the title. Thank you for the suggestion and reminding me to add it to my list. I think our society doesn’t fully accept the gravity of this

Thanks so much for the suggestion, Johanna. I will read it - and it sounds like we do need that kind of collective moment as a society
Have you read Men Who Hate Women by Laura Bates? I’m in the middle of it now and this aligns with her findings. It’s a hard read but enlightening

Absolutely. I’ve know boys who were right at the precipice. We need more interventions in place
I have as well and see others who concern me. I’ve seen firsthand the power of intervention, especially by other men and peers—it can’t be overstated.
I second this recommendation.
