This was fun to read! And I can hear the reflection underneath the humour.
We are such fooled little humans aren't we, thinking it's a great thing to be in a world with so many options that we end up not being able to choose and commit for the fear of always missing out on "better".
I love the character you created here. Certainly relatable. My teenage diaries sound very similar except for the sex against the wall thing.
Love and lust...for me personally it starts with defining what love actually means. Like my personal definition. And going from there. Disney and Hollywood really have done us dirty on this 🤣
I know that love CAN contain lust but that lust is definitely not love. Love isn't a spark or chemistry. Love is a long long game, it's built, created and chosen.
Yes to all of this, also love and lust can feel the same in the right circumstances, it can be easy to confuse the two if you don't know what you're looking for or honest about where you're at.
I have also been thinking about a line I Heard in a Kendrick Lamar song where he discusses cheating on his wife and what it said about him. In the song he say's, "All these women gave me super powers, what I thought I lacked" and it made me think about what that pursuit of Love/lust has looked like for me, and maybe some other men.
The title alone made me scream with laughter. I like that it feels very 2010s era. Also, you might like the 33 and 1/3 for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Thanks for making time to read this post, and I'll definitely check out the 33 and 1/3rd. When I wrote this I was listening to an old J Cole song as a driving motivator, but I couldn't find it. Between the Sheets had to do.
"When God created Adam, she was trying shit out, but Eve was a manifestation of all of her lessons learned; I consider it divine perfection." Wow, this line 🔥
The song choices 🤣. That’s it that’s the note. I enjoyed reading this and lust can be a powerful thing for sure. Also loved the little reference to God as “she”.

Hilarious! I thought he was serious at first but I knew by the 2nd stanza he was not.

Thank you, I was in my bag with that line. I liked it so much I started to worry that it was going to sound corny to everyone else. lol
You really were in your bag tbh and if anyone thinks it's corny that's their problem 😭
Loved this line room!
Too😂
