Podcast: How to Choose Yourself When the Mask Falls Off, with Christy Mattis
Some times the love of your life is you.
Welcome to the Un-trashed Podcast. This is a space dedicated to having conversations that make you think, laugh, and grow. Over the next few weeks this podcast will be running a series titled, “Things I learned from the people who dumped me.” Each episode will feature a guest sharing a story about someone they fell for, dated, broke up with, and the lessons they learned.
This weeks guest is someone I met on instagram, and over the years we have become friends and fans of each other’s work. Christhina Mattis was born in Canada with a Jamaican background. She is the proud mother of her son Malachi and she is the author of the children’s book Be Calm Mali and the host of the podcast Candid with Christy. She had a strong passion for real estate which lead her current path of receiving her realtors license. She also has a strong passion for social justice and women’s rights guest is a good friend, collaborator, and one of the Bronx’s finest residents, Evan Mastronardi. On this episode, Christy talks about learning how to choose herself.
Want to hear more from Christy? Great! Check out her podcast, Candid with Christy. You can find information on it here.
