Cuomo threw himself of a cliff 😅 I’m of course so excited that Zohran won, but am worried at the Zohran vs Trump dynamic turning into a bit of a reality show. On one hand, I appreciate that he’s using the spectacle to his advantage; on the other, I’m a little exhausted by it all.
I no longer live in NY, but my hope is that this is just the beginning. Can you imagine if our country was run by politicians who think like he does? I am so grateful to NYC for electing someone progressive, open minded, and caring. This is the blue wave we need in this country, politicians who care about people other than themselves or the wealthiest who don't need any help.

Even the office of NYC mayor is a step down for a former governor, especially the former governor of NY. And to do it right after being summarily dismissed in scandal, definitely exposed Cuomo as one of those types. Some people are humble enough on their own or have been humbled and ride of into the sunset. And then there are those who insist on holding on. Like clockwork it doesn't end well. And it wont end well on a national level either.

You and me both friend, and unfortunately, Trump wants to keep it going. He's planning on sending national guard to NYC.
